Legends Baseball, LLC was founded by David Costantino in 2005. Our mission is simple, to make available the best coaching staff and training facility possible to help your child reach his full baseball potential.
TRAVEL PROGRAM (Ages 10U-15U)
Going into our 6th year, Legends Baseball is recognized nationally as one of the leading travel programs in the country. In just 5 years, we have accumulated 4 National Championships,1, National Championship runner-ups, 5 New England Regional Championships and 6 New England Regional Championship Runner-ups. Legends is now part of New England Elite Baseball League (EBL) where in each age division our top teams participate in Division I to ensure the best possible competition.
SHOWCASE TEAM (17U)
Legends Baseball offered their first 16U Showcase Team last season and was a great success. This team comprised of the top players in New England participated in five major tournaments where all the top college and professional scouts attend. We also showcased this team infront of Boston College, University of Rhode Island, Franklin Pierce and University of Southern Maine.
The difference between our showcase teams and our Travel teams is the exposure, travel and level of baseball. Our mission for these showcase teams is to give players the best opportunity to play college level baseball or beyond. We also want to give our players as much exposure as possible while competing in the top tournaments across the country.
Legends 14 Navy Team went 7-1 in the Ripken Nationa Tournament to take home the title. In the semi finals the Legends beat the undefeated Florida Predators 18-2. The Legends jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead in the first inning and they never looked back while pounding out 15 hits including 5 triples. Calvin Carbone and Nick Latham each chipped in with 3 Rbi's. In the quarter finals the legends cruised past the Michigan Sox 11-2. Devin Murray led the offense with 2 hits and scoring 4 runs while Zach Steer shut down the Sox with 5 innings of 3 hit ball with 6 strike outs. In the Championship game the Legends hung on to beat their local rival Diamond Dawgs 9-4. Thomas Lane pitched 5 great innings and Zach Steer closed the game with 2 flawless innings. Aaron Hall had 2 big hits driving in 2 runs including a triple and Cameron Hauze drove in 3 runs. Nick Latham and Kevin Regan were named MVP's of the tournament by coach Mike Costantino. Kevin had 13 hits, scored 16 runs and stole 8 bases while Nick Latham had 11 hits with 3 Home Runs while driving in 13 runs.
Legends 16 Showcase Team went 6-1 to become runners-up in the 18U Best of Mid Atlantic Tournament at Temple University. Legends went 4-0 in pool play defeating ASBA South Jersey 10-2, Brewers Scout Team 3-2, The Hit Club 11-5 and Long Island Nationals 12-4. In the Quarter Finals Legends defeated Matrix Prospects 7-2. They went on to defeat Triple Threat Bearcats 17U team 6-4 advancing them to the finals. Legends had a tough loss in the finals against Triple Threat Bearcats 18U team 2-0 to become runners-up. Player of the Tournament was Genaro Ciulla who went 14-23 batting .600 with a home run.
Legends 13U Navy won the Triple Crown Memorial Day Weekend Tournament in North Branford Connecticut. The 13U Legends went 5-0 to capture the Memorial Day Championship. They outscored their opponents 53-12 in the 5 games. Coach Eric Costantino's 13U Legends Team is now 22-4 on the young season.
Legends 14 Navy Team finishes in 2nd place in Baseball Heaven Tournament. The Legends lost in the Championship game 2-1 and finished the tournament 5-1. The Legends beat the Wetchester Lightning in the semi finals 4-3 on a successful squeeze bunt by Troy Bunker in the bottom of the 6th inning to win the game and Thomas Lane picked up the win. In the finals the Legends held a 1-0 lead going into the 6th inning but the Bronx Bombers pushed across 2 runs and the Legends comeback in the 7th inning came up just a bit short. Aaron Hall pitched a great game.
Legends 12 Navy Team went 4-0 out-scoring their opponents 29-6 to become Baseball Heaven's Tournament Champions. Legends pitching staff was outstanding allowing only 6 earned runs with 16 strike outs. Offensively, Legends collected 26 hits with 3 2B, 1 HR and 39 SB while only having 1 error for the entire tournament. This is Legends second straight tournament championship, they won AAU Spring Classic Tournament in early April.
11 Navy Team went 3-0-1 putting up impressive 39 runs and only allowing 9 runs against. Legends offense was tremendous this weekend putting up big numbers. Their first game and final game was all about hitting collecting 17 hits first game and 14 hits in final game. Second and Third games were all about pitching and defense.
Legends 12 Navy Team went 4-1 to capture NEAAU Spring Classic Tournament. Legends pitching staff was remarkable throwing two no-hitters, a one hitter and only letting up seven hits the whole tournament. They outscored their opponents 43-3. "I expect big things from this team said coach and program director Dave Costantino. We have a ton of pitching, our defense is great only having one error this weekend and we can hit."
Legends 14 Navy Team swept through the Ripken National Tournament going 8-0 to become the 14U National Champions. Legends went 5-0 in pool play and 3-0 in single elimination out-scoring opponents 119-19.
In the semi-finals, Legends defeated the Detroit Metro Stars 3-1 behind Trevor Massey's complete game.
Legends got off to a quick 6-1 lead in the championship game and ended up defeating the Minnessota Noresman to become the Ripken National Champions. Paul Cambell was the tournament MVP pitching a complete game and adding a couple of doubles.
Legends 15 Navy Team fell short in the championship game vs Western Mass Storm to become runners-up in the Ripken National Tournament.
After winning the AAU New England Regional Tournament Sunday night, Legends took a flight Monday morning to play a week long tournament in Myrtle Beach, SC. After losing their first two games of pool play, the Legends stormed back to win six in a row to advance to the Championship game. With the game tied 1-1 in the fifth, the Western Mass Strom pulled away to win the Ripken National Tournament.
Legends 15 Navy Team wins its third straight New England Regional Champoinship. During single elimination, Legends defeated Concord Cannons 8-1. In the semi-finals, they mercey ruled the Boston Broncos 14-4. In the championship game, they defeated the Tribe 6-2 to become the New England Regional Champions.
Legends Baseball has set the bar high for AAU programs in New England. In just their fourth year, 5 teams from the Legends Program have finished in the top 2 in the New England Regional Tournament. Our 10U, 11U & 12U teams all finished 2nd in the Super Division along with the 14U team in the Diamond Division. Legends 15U team is the New England Regional Tournament Champions.
